A pro-choice group is to protest outside the Dail this lunchtime to call for more abortion availability for women in this country.

A pro-choice group is to protest outside the Dail this lunchtime to call for more abortion availability for women in this country.

"Alliance for Choice" said times have changed since a constitutional referendum restricted abortion rights in 1983.

Up to 7,000 Irish women travel abroad every year for an abortion.
