The daughter of convicted killer Eamon Lillis has told the High Court she'd "rather stick pins in her eyes" than let her father return within six miles of the family home.
Georgia Lillis and the late Celine Cawley's family are looking for orders stopping the 53-year-old from accessing assets of over €1m.
The court heard that Mr Lillis is filled with remorse and plagued by guilt over killing his wife Ms Cawley in December 2008.
He said his only concern now is rebuiling a relationship with his daughter Georgia.
He said she has agreed to let him return as a parent to the family home in Howth on his release from jail.
But the 18-year-old insisted she wants nothing to do with him and told the court in an affidavit that she would rather stick pins in her eyes than let him return within six miles of Rowan Hill.
Mr Lillis and his late wife jointly owned the family home and an apartment in Sutton but Georgia and Celine Cawley's brother and sister are trying to stop Mr Lillis from retaining his share of these assets, on the basis that he should not benefit from his crime.
