MTV to give Global Icon award to Queen
It has been announced that legendary rockers Queen are to receive a Global Icon Award at this year's MTV/EMA awards in Belfast.
The remaining members of the band will take to the stage at the awards which take place on November 6.
Queen were formed 40 years ago this year and have sold more than 300 million albums.
Lead singer Freddie Mercury died in November 1991 after a long battle with HIV AIDS.
