The PSNI are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the early hours of today.

The PSNI are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the early hours of today.

One man was in the building on Larne Road, Ballymena, at the time of the attack shortly before 3am, but he was not injured.

The fire was put out before serious damage was caused, while a motive has yet to be identified.

It is understood glass in the front door was smashed and the petrol bomb thrown into the house. The device ignited against a wall.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
