Twenty-year old woman killed in Meath crash

A 20-year-old woman has been killed in a road accident in Co Meath.

A 20-year-old woman has been killed in a road accident in Co Meath.

It happened at Boyne Road in Navan just after 11pm last night.

Gardaí say the car she was travelling in left the road and entered the canal which runs beside the River Boyne.

Another woman in her twenties who was in the car managed to free herself and raise the alarm.

The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at Navan General Hospital.
