The National Safety Council says it is concerned about the increasing number of motorcycle fatalities on Irish roads.
Two men in Dublin were killed this weekend when their motorcycles were in separate collisions with cars.
National Safety Council chairman Eddie Shaw says motorcyclists are at an increasing risk.
He says that while figures for other vehicles involved in road accidents have fallen, motorcycle related crashes have risen and now stand at 16 so far this year.
