The Taoiseach has told the Cabinet he will dissolve the Dáil tomorrow.

He has not yet given a date for the General Election.

However, it is widely expected to be Friday 26th February.

Speaking to Mid West Radio, Enda Kenny said he will be going to the Áras an Uachtaráin tomorrow to dissolve the 31st Dail.

“I’ve already told the Cabinet that I will proceed to Áras an Uachtaráin tomorrow to ask for a dissolution of the Dáil and announce polling day.”
