Trial date set in Dublin taxi-driver murder case

A man and woman accused of murdering a taxi driver in Blanchardstown earlier this year will go on trial next March at the Central Criminal Court.

A man and woman accused of murdering a taxi driver in Blanchardstown earlier this year will go on trial next March at the Central Criminal Court.

Carlos Byrne (aged 22) of Linnetsfield Square, Clonee, and Lindsey Fahy (aged 25) of Linton Square, Ongar, Clonee, are accused of murdering 31 year-old Mark Smyth on March 18, 2008.

They are due to be tried on March 2, 2009.
