Brewster back in Caley hot-seat

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have unveiled Craig Brewster as their new manager.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have unveiled Craig Brewster as their new manager.

Brewster takes charge of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League club for a second time.

The 40-year-old left Caley Thistle in January 2006 to become Dundee United manager, but struggled at Tannadice and left in late October.

He joined Aberdeen in December on a playing contract and remained at Pittodrie for the start of this season, scoring twice in Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Hibernian.

Brewster succeeds Charlie Christie whose resignation was confirmed last Monday.

Inverness are bottom of the SPL after four straight defeats.
