Man to appear in court in connection with Mayo shooting

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 71-year-old Thomas Biggins at his Co Mayo home.

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 71-year-old Thomas Biggins at his Co Mayo home.

Mr Biggins was shot dead in Wallpark, Glencorrib on Sunday.

Gardaí in Claremorris have said a 33-year-old man will be brought before this morning's sitting of Ballina District Court at 10.30am.
