Man injured in shooting at house in Co Armagh

A 26-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot at his house in Lurgan, Co Armagh, last night.

A 26-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot at his house in Lurgan, Co Armagh, last night.

The man was about to answer a call to his front door in Margretta Close at around 11pm when a shot was fired through the door.

The PSNI has not revealed where the bullet struck him, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The motive for the shooting is not known.
