In the North up to 30 youths were involved in rioting in North Belfast overnight.

Members of both sides of the community threw stones and other missiles at houses and cars, breaking windows and damaging vehicles.

Police intervened and the calm was restored within two hours.

Nobody was arrested and there are no reports of any injuries.
