An elderly woman has died in hospital from injuries she sustained in a road crash in Co Kerry earlier this week.

An elderly woman has died in hospital from injuries she sustained in a road accident in Co Kerry earlier this week.

The accident occurred when a car and a truck were in collision on the Killorglin to Glenbeigh road on Tuesday.

The woman, who was in her 70s, was a passenger in the car.

She was seriously injured in the crash and died in hospital yesterday.

Gardaí are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the collision.
