The search surrounding the Dungarvan has ended following the discovery of a body in the waters of the harbour shortly after 12.30pm.

The search in Dungarvan has ended following the discovery of a body in the waters of the harbour shortly after 12.30pm.

The man, who was in his seventies, was reported missing after he went for a walk in the harbour area yesterday.

His disappearance lead to a rescue operation, which was spearheaded by the local lifeboat, coast guard and the South-East Air Rescue helicopter.
