Westlife's Kian Egan was injured in the face in a fracas outside a Sligo takeaway.

Westlife's Kian Egan was injured in the face in a fracas outside a Sligo takeaway.

The incident took place at about 4am today.

He was treated in hospital for his injuries to his nose and tooth - but it is believed that tonight's concert in Dublin's Point Theatre will go ahead.
