Troubles support groups get €3.5m funding boost

The Northern Executive has announced a €3.5m funding boost for groups working with victims and survivors of the Troubles.

The Northern Executive has announced a €3.5m funding boost for groups working with victims and survivors of the Troubles.

Funding for the Community Relations Council's development grant schemes is being doubled, while the Northern Ireland Memorial Fund will also receive extra funding of more than €1m.

The Northern Executive says this is a clear message to groups dealing directly with victims of the Troubles that their needs are a government priority.
