ISEQ up 54, Ryanair cruising

The ISEQ climbed 54.27 points today to close at 6533.02.

The ISEQ climbed 54.27 points today to close at 6533.02.

Ryanair was the day’s busiest share and closed up 16c (2.3%) at €7.01. The airline today said its daily Shannon-Paris route had passed the 300,000-passenger mark.

Jurys was up 30c (1.6%) at €18.95.

The financials were also performing well, with Bank of Ireland up 19c (1.5%) at €12.80 and AIB gaining 15c to €17.00. Irish Life and Permanent closed up 13c at €14.38, while Anglo Irish Bank finished the day up 2c at €11.02.

CRH was up 4c at €20.79 at the end of the day.
