Mayoman Murphy stunned Drogheda with a cracking opening goal on 27 minutes form all of 30 yards.

Drogheda defender Stuart Malcolm fired shots off the Derry bar on 33 and 72 minutes.

But in between Murphy scored again, drilling home from 25 yards.
