Roberto Mancini has picked out Leeds' Paul Robinson as one of the players who has impressed Sven-Goran Eriksson.
The Leeds keeper is one of five players admired most by the new England boss according to Mancini, who resigned from his coaching job at Lazio just hours after Eriksson announced he had quit the Rome club.
Robinson turned in a superb display in the Elland Road club's 1-0 Champions League win over in the Olympic Stadium, which contributed hugely to Eriksson's downfall.
"If there is one player who has caught Sven's eye it is Robinson," said Mancini.
"He came here with Leeds in the Champions League and was outstanding. The whole Leeds defence played well, but he did not make one mistake.
"His handling was brilliant, he read crosses well and looked to be very safe with shots.
"When we were told how young he was, we could hardly believe it."
Not surprisingly, the other players to impress the new England boss are David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Keiron Dyer and Emile Heskey.
