Sinead O’Connor is to marry her boyfriend Barry Herridge tomorrow.

The 'Nothing Compares 2 U' singer is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend Barry Herridge, from Raheny, Dublin, in a private ceremony rumoured to be in Las Vegas.

She wrote on her blog: "With enormous joy myself and my beloved boyfriend Barry Herridge will be getting married tomorrow, December 8, 2011, at 'an undisclosed location' in my absolute dream wedding ceremony. We will post a photo or two here on the site as soon as possible afterward. Very happy girl. (sic)"

Sinead appeared on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show on Today FM yesterday where she claimed she had no exciting news to share but today she and her fiance Barry rang the station to announce the nuptials.

Ian wrote on his twitter page: "So Sinead O'Connor was holding back yesterday. Boyfriend Barry Herridge got back to us today to reveal that they will wed tomorrow...

"And it's Sinead's birthday tomorrow too. Congrats to them both. And Sinead's new album is sounding great too. (sic)"

Sinead – who has four children from previous relationships – has previously been married three times, to music producer John Reynolds in 1989, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001 and long-time friend and collaborator Steve Cooney in July 2010.

Speaking about her eight-month marriage to Steve, which ended earlier this year, Sinead has previously said: "Steve is lovely so it’s not his fault but mine. It was an extremely happy marriage. I’m heartbroken about it breaking up."
