FSAI appoints new consumer protection director

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has appointed Dr Brian Redahan as director of consumer protection.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has appointed Dr Brian Redahan as director of consumer protection.

In this role Dr Redahan will be responsible for developing and managing a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on consumer protection.

He will work closely with staff of the official agencies and the food industry to promote and encourage the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in Ireland.
