JLS star and The Saturdays singer to wed
Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin Humes are engaged, it has emerged.
The JLS heartthrob proposed to The Saturdays singer on New Year's Eve during their holiday to the Caribbean island of Antigua and the couple announced their happy news via Rochelle's twitter account.
Accompanied by a photo of the pair toasting their engagement with two glasses of champagne, the 22-year-old pop beauty tweeted: "Its official Marvin proposed 2me 2day, wanted 2 tell u b4 some1 else did! SO excited 2 b Mrs Humes. X"
Marvin, 26, took to the official JLS twitter page to tell the boy band's fans the news, writing: "Happy New Year everyone!!! So everyone hears it from me ... Rochelle and I are engaged!! Party time tonight! Have a great one. All love. Marv x"
In another post, he added: "We are the happiest 2 people in the world. A perfect start to 2012.This year is gonna be massive. Luv ya! M x"
Marvin and Rochelle first started dating in March 2010 after falling for each other on the showbiz circuit.
However, they separated in November of the same year due to work pressures but they rekindled their romance in January 2011 and soon moved back in with one another.
