West Brom boss Bryan Robson has moved to strengthen his strikeforce in the battle to avoid relegation by signing Everton’s Kevin Campbell.

The former Arsenal forward has agreed an 18-month deal after being given a free transfer out of Goodison Park.

Campbell has played only seven matches for the Toffees this season and has yet to find the net but that has not deterred Robson.

“I’m delighted to have Kevin on board,” he told the club’s website, www.wba.co.uk.

“He’s got vast experience and Premiership know-how – I think he’ll be a real success for Albion.”
