Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Castleblaney in Co Monaghan.

Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Castleblaney in Co Monaghan.

At around 9.30pm three masked men entered the house at Blaeberry Walk and threatened a number of people who were present.

The raiders ransacked the house however it is unclear at this time if anything was taken.

Investigating officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen an a old type silver BMW with an 01-D registration which was seen in the area between the hours of 6pm and 10pm on Friday 10th January 2014 and also on Sunday the 12th January 2014.
