Dentists pass motion of no confidence in Govt

Over 400 members of the Irish Dental Association have passed a motion of no confidence in the Government at a crisis meeting held in Dublin earlier today.

Over 400 members of the Irish Dental Association have passed a motion of no confidence in the Government at a crisis meeting held in Dublin earlier today.

The meeting was called following government cuts in payment supports for dental treatments on the PRSI and Medical Card schemes.

Chief Executive of the Association Fintan Hourihan said the Government has abandoned the provision of dental care for the most needy.
