Gardaí investigating the murder of Limerick man Roy Collins have launched a fresh appeal for information.

Gardaí investigating the murder of Limerick man Roy Collins have launched a fresh appeal for information.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was at Roxboro Shopping Centre at around lunch-time last Thursday, when the father of two was shot dead.

They are also looking for information about a black Mercedes which was found near the scene of the attack in Mill Lane.

The car - registration 06D 528010 - was stolen in Dublin at the end of March.

Garda are reassuring the public that any information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
