Govt announces €11.5m for seafood industry

The Government is providing investment of almost €11.5m in the seafood processing industry.

The Government is providing investment of almost €11.5m in the seafood processing industry.

It is hoped 123 new jobs will result from the funding, as well as an increase in annual sales worth €27m.

Twenty-one companies will benefit from the grant aid.

Six are based in Cork, four each in Donegal and Galway, three in Mayo, two in Kerry and one each in Dublin and Wexford.
