Eight arrested in Limerick raids

Gardaí in Limerick have arrested eight people as part of an investigation into criminal activity in the city.

Gardaí in Limerick have arrested eight people as part of an investigation into criminal activity in the city.

The arrests were made during a series of raids across the city this morning.

Gardaí said a large quantity of drugs was also seized during the raids, which were carried out by 40 officers.

Gardaí are believed to be questioning those arrested about a number of ongoing murder investigations in Limerick.
