Talks aimed at resolving the ongoing dispute at the Brinks Allied security firm are due to get underway at the Labour Relations Commission today.
The dispute centres around the introduction of new security vans and procedures that the workers believe will compromise their health and safety.
The company introduced the changes without consultation in an effort to combat a recent spate of armed raids.
The workers have voted in favour of strike over the company’s refusal to allow them to operate old vans and procedures pending a resolution of the dispute.
