Kerry is to see an influx of international visitors this weekend as the Rose of Tralee comes to town.
Thirty-two Roses will be judged for their performance during a weekend of events, including a grand ball tonight and the traditional parade on Saturday.
Monday and Tuesday's live television shows will follow, as will the crowning of the Rose.
It is the second festival for host and Kerryman, Daithí Ó Sé, and he says Kerry people are delighted to see him front the show:
"People talk about the previous presenters - Gay Byrne, Ray D'Arcy and all these guys - but once you get down to Kerry, they don’t care abot that. You're the first Kerry man (in the job), and that's it," he said.
