Barrett an injury doubt for Drogheda

Drogheda United are still searching for their first win of the season and will be hoping to record it against Galway United at United Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

For Drogheda, Shane Barrett is injured and may miss out, while Alan McNally broke down before the Cork game and is a slight doubt for tonight.

Drogheda boss Alan Mathews said: “I’m disappointed we didn’t score to at least get the draw, as Cork had no real fluency to their play, and we matched them for the majority of the game.

“We have to focus on our own play, and take the game to Galway, as we did against Cork and Shamrock Rovers in our last two games.”

Galway boss Ian Foster is again without the services of Shane Fitzgerald, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, while John Russell and Mark O'Toole are both returning to fitness after spells on the sidelines.

Seamus Connelly is also a doubt after being substituted on Tuesday against Bohemians with a groin injury.
