A minute's silence has been observed at Croke Park in Dublin ahead of Ireland's match with New Zealand as a mark of respect for Limerick man Shane Geoghegan.

His club, Garryowen, has cancelled its matches and training until further notice.

The 28-year-old was shot and killed last Sunday in the Dooradoyle area in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity.
