We can't afford Croke Park deal, says Fine Gael TD

Another member of the Fine Gael party has called on his Government to re-examine the Croke Park Agreement.

Speaking to Declan Meehan on East Coast FM's morning show, Wicklow TD Simon Harris said the agreement is not working the way it should.

He also said that there should be an immediate freeze on increments for those on higher salaries in the public sector.

"The Croke Park Agreement - we can't afford it in its current guise," he said.

"We should immediately freeze increments for people earning above €70,000 in the public sector. That's my view."
