A murder inquiry has been launched in the North following the fatal stabbing of a man in south Belfast.

A murder inquiry has been launched in the North following the fatal stabbing of a man in south Belfast.

Police say the man who was in his late 50s died in hospital, after suffering multiple stab wounds to the back and chest during a knife attack at a flat yesterday afternoon.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
