A key witness in Ian Bailey's wrongful arrest action is to continue her evidence this morning.
Marie Farrell is expected to testify that gardaí pressurised her into giving statements placing the former journalist near the scene of Sophie Toscan du Plantier's murder.
Her evidence began yesterday evening.
The shopkeeper based in Schull, Co Cork told the jury she saw a man wearing a black beret and coat on three occasions in the days before Sophie Toscan du Plantier was killed.
She said she first saw this stranger across the road from her shop, she saw him again hitching a lift and lastly staggering along the road at 3am - hours before the body was discovered.
She says the man was not Ian Bailey, though in her garda statements she placed the former journalist at Kealfadda bridge in the early hours.
The jury has heard she is expected to say that gardaí put pressure on her to make those claims.
