Hewlett Packard is creating 50 new jobs at its base in County Kildare.

Hewlett Packard is creating 50 new jobs at its base in County Kildare.

The world's largest computer manufacturer is looking for "highly skilled, multi-lingual graduates" to provide support for Microsoft software programmes.

Depending on the success of the plan, another 70 jobs could be created.

Managing Director Martin Murphy said he believes the creation of a small number of jobs each time could be the way for Ireland's employment level to recover, rather than focusing on big employers who might take larger numbers out of the dole queues.
