Lobby group urges anti-Hanly Report support

The Health Services Action Group has called on people to vote for opponents of the Hanly Report in the upcoming local elections.

The Health Services Action Group has called on people to vote for opponents of the Hanly Report in the upcoming local elections.

The group was set up to oppose the implementation of the report, which called for the downgrading of local hospitals in favour of a more centralised system.

The HSAG claimed today that the implementation of the plan would harm patient care in Ireland and put seriously ill patients at risk of dying.
