A post mortem is due to be carried out today on the body of a pensioner who was found dead yesterday following a suspected burglary at his home in Co Tyrone.

The 75-year-old, who has been named locally as Patrick McGrath, was discovered beside his seriously injured sister Philomena when police called at their home near Coalisland.

The PSNI said it was investigating the possibility that the pair may have been attacked during a burglary and has appealed for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and contact them.
