William's Dad: Robbie is doing well in rehab

The father of troubled pop star Robbie Williams says his son is "doing well" in rehab.

The father of troubled pop star Robbie Williams says his son is "doing well" in rehab.

The Feel hitmaker was admitted to The Meadows rehabilitation clinic in Arizona earlier this month in a bid to overcome his addiction to prescription pills, and father Pete is pleased with his progress so far.

He says: "I am looking forward to flying over to the States to see Rob. We are hoping to have him out of rehab very soon. Rob has plenty of friends and family around to support him.

"He is in good humour, cracking jokes and on good form. I'm extremely positive about him - he is doing well. I speak to him every day and he is fine."
