Dublin City Council has accepted plans to introduce stricter controls on the conduct of clampers in Dublin.

Dublin City Council has accepted plans to introduce stricter controls on the conduct of clampers in Dublin.

The plans include the introduction of an appeals process whereby drivers can complain if they feel they have been unfairly treated.

Staff at the new clamping company operating in the city are also receiving conflict management training to properly deal with motorists.
