The Sinn Fein chief negotiator Martin McGuinness is expected to give the clearest indication yet that the party is set to endorse the North's policing board.
Mr. McGuinness is expected to give his indication later today at the party's second day of the Ard Fheis in Dublin.
Yesterday, the party President Gerry Adams said that there had been substantive movement on key issues by the British government.
Mr. McGuinness is also expected to signal that moves have been made on new legislation, on demilitarisation and moves to break down the special branch.
