Rescued fisherman set to return home

A fisherman, rescued yesterday after his boat sank six miles off the coast of County Down, is due to fly home from the Isle of Man later today.

28-year old Shane Murnaghan was found on a liferaft yesterday after spending 20 hours drifting at sea, and was airlifted to hospital.

The search for his crewmate, 30-year-old Colin Donnelly, was called off last night.

Searchers said that there is "no hope left" that he could be alive, after more than 24 hours in the water.
