2001 All-Star Mark Foley will make his first start of the National League when Limerick line out against Galway on Sunday (Pearse Stadium, throw-in 2.30pm).
The fit-again defender, who sat out last week's draw with Tipperary, returns at left corner back for the Shannonsiders' visit to Salthill.
Limerick manager Joe McKenna has made two changes to his side from last Sunday. Tournafulla's Neil Collins, who made his league debut at midfield against Tipp, loses out with Foley being recalled and Denis Moloney moving to centre-field.
Sean O'Connor also makes way for Mungret giant Brian Begley at full-forward. Having returned from a two-year injury enforced lay-off in the Waterford Crystal Cup, Begley, showing no ill-affects of his serious ankle injury, came off the bench to score a point against Tipp.
Meanwhile, Garryspillane clubman Donie Ryan is continuing his recovery after chipping a bone in his hand against Cork in a challenge match earlier this month.
