The Sinn Féin president has accused the British government of doing nothing in response to revelations of collusion.

Speaking at a rally in Belfast this afternoon, Gerry Adams said the findings of the Stevens Report into the murder of Catholic solicitor Pat Finucane was the first official recognition of a strategy of state-sponsored killings.

He said republicans would continue to press Tony Blair to face down dissidents within the British system who had colluded with loyalists, and were now trying to destroy the peace process.

Thousands of republicans marched to Belfast City Hall this afternoon, to hear the call for the truth about collusion to be unveiled.
