The Irish Stock Exchange has had a quiet morning after a 10.97 point rise to 2,476.12 by 11.30am.
The main climber so far today has been Paddy Power with a 47c increase to €13.47.
The financials were generally positive with the exception of Anglo Irish Bank who slipped four cents to €88c. Irish Life and Permanent experienced a 16c rise to €1.39 and AIB nudged upwards by five cents to €2.38. Bank of Ireland climbed 14c to €1.36.
Elsewhere, food group Glanbia had a 15c increase to €2 while business services firm DCC dipped 18c to stand at €11.27.
