Hundreds still without power after overnight storms

Around 1,900 ESB customers are still without power this evening following storms yesterday.

Some 500 people are affected in Enniscorthy while 1,400 are waiting for service to be restored in the South West.

ESB Networks crews worked throughout the day restoring power to thousands of homes and businesses.

The company says the number is reducing and supply should be restored to all shortly.
