Woman dies in Dublin housefire

A woman has died in a house fire in south Dublin overnight.

A woman has died in a house fire in south Dublin overnight.

The blaze broke out just before 11pm last night in Monkstown.

Gardaí have said that the victim, who was 52 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

A post mortem examination will be carried out later today and the scene has been sealed off for forensic examination.
