Clarity needed on future status of EU citizens in UK and NI post Brexit - Kelleher

Fianna Fáil MEP Billy Kelleher has called for more clarity in the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement on the future status of EU citizens living in the UK including Northern Ireland.

The Ireland South MEP says a range of issues need to be clarified including what rights and entitlements EU citizens will have if they end up living in the UK post Brexit.

The future rights of UK citizens living in the EU are also unclear according to Mr Kelleher.

The European Parliament this week debated the provisions of Citizens’ rights in the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement.
