Gardai renew appeal for witnesses to hit and run
Gardai in Co Kildare are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal hit and run in the early hours of today.
A 40-year-old man was struck by a car, which failed to stop at Kilcullen at just after 1am this morning.
The car has been identified as a green Vauxhall Cavalier. Anyone travelling between Athy and Kilcullen, and who may have seen the accident, is asked to contact Gardai in Newbridge.
