The results of a post mortem examination carried out on the body of a man found dead in a Dublin apartment are expected to be made known today.

The results of a post mortem examination carried out on the body of a man found dead in a Dublin apartment are expected to be made known today.

The remains of the man were discovered at around 2.30pm on Wednesday at the property in Seafield Road East, Clontarf.

It is understood he was found lying on a couch by a friend.

Gardaí sealed off the area around the apartment and a full forensic examination was carried out.

The remains were removed yesterday and a post mortem examination was carried out last night.
